60s swing dress colors and patterns were bigger and brighter with high necklines and short cap sleeves or the new-ish 3/4 sleeve
Early in summer when it tends to be a bit cooler (high 50s/low 60s) you may also consider bringing along a pair of ankle boots that you can walk in easily and that pair with jeans or dresses
Im hoping our recent Christmas drinks, for example, might become an annual thing, and if they do then people will come knowing what everyone wore last time
It also comes in yellow, grey and black, but if you're looking for a wardrobe staple that you'll wear for years to come, I'm impressed by how this affordable linen manages to tick all the boxes for fit, fabric and function and still come in at under 60
Winter celebrations call for dark colors, festive jewel tones, and crushed velvet dressesall of which are on-theme for New Year's Eve weddings too
