It has good synergy with mice, and I think it's a piece that gives a reason to use Rakdos other than just for Fling
One cool trick is to pair it with cards that copy artifacts like Phyrexian Metamorph or Sculpting Steel
It's seemingly less malicious than something like Hullbreacher or Narset, Parter of Veils, since it still lets people have their cards, it just kills them rapidly for overextending
