The win the game gimmick is cute, but its very hard to pull off
Even though it hasn't been released yet, Final Fantasy is already the best-selling set in the 32-year-old card game's history, and RPGSite had a chance to preview some brand new cards and hear from some of the creative designers behind the set
And of course, for a project of this scale and size, we've included some pretty awesome treatments, not only to the cards in the main set but several Commander staples as well
While this would not be a problem if it instead serves the higher purpose of a game-ending combo, such as Sigardas Aid, I think Ephemerate does not quite do that
Chad does a great job at hosting events and providing excellent prizes to his customers
The mechanic saves you from really having to cast self-mill spells at all: you just mill a little to get them into your graveyard, then start replacing draws for free chunks of three, four, or five cards flipped over from library to grave
