If you jam your entire deck full of the most expensive and devastating cards you can think of, your first big cascade spell has a good chance to do something game-winning

Sure, they have a lot of toughness and can block for you, but that doesnt do a lot of good to take out your opponent

Sideboard copies of Out Cold is neat as a way to put stun counters on things to proliferate them

Otherwise, I would probably have 8 slots taken up with them
