In Japanese cards, though, you look for the complete lack of a rarity symbol
Recently I purchased a few collections that included 1st Edition Base cards (I may have mentioned I like 1st Ed Base)
You're not running this in the average deck anymore, but the changeling ability still gives it a home in typal builds

Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder The Foundations Jumpstart set has a lot of commanders that work with particular MTG creature types, or are very obviously gunning for one particular strategy, so Evereth stands out as one of the more flexible new cards in the set
