It alludes to an ancient legend in the bygone kingdom of Asturias, a part of Spain with many Moroccan influences. String techniques such as glissandi, harmonics, tremolo, trills, pizzicato and sul ponticello highlight the intensity and colour in this haunting work. Grade 3. 5.
