A Group of Three Roman Glass Bangles, Roman Imperial Period, ca. 1st - 3rd century CE Sculpture - Architectural is an inlaid circular bronzeA visually appealing group of three ancient Roman glass bracelets, of varying hues and diameters. Each is formed from a rod of colored glass drawn and joined into a continuous loop. The group includes: two of dark cobalt blue glass, and one of a rich sea green. All exhibit iridescent weathering and mineral deposits, adding character and depth to the surfaces. These types of bangles were worn individually or stacked in multiples and were popular
