Cask No. 19.61 21 – 25 years The surprisingly fresh and zestyA big, bold, no nonsense highland style malt; this much was immediately apparent from the nose. Notes of hobnobs and digestive biscuits, then caramelised oatmeal, scones loaded with clotted cream, honeysuckle, melon and allspice. Water softened things slightly and brought intricate notes such as elderflower, sour apples, fruit roll ups, red laces and rich custard. The neat palate opened with creamy chai tea, cinnamon buns, golden syrup, custard
