When held up to a back light and looked through, the viewer will be surprised by a raunchy image at the bottom of the mug featuring a naked lady with her legs seductively dangling in the air! This is called a lithophane, a small etched image on thin translucent porcelain. This lovely example was produced Gerold Porzellan of Bavaria and was Made in Germany.
