The action is medium to medium-fast with a good bit of backbone in the butt thanks in part to the swelled butt

Fine cosmetic and mechanical condition. The agate line guide is unblemished. The ribbed alloy foot has been thinned on both ends to fit modern reel seats but remains full length. The box is fully intact and in excellent condition! Jimmy Smith's initials on the inside.
