This is a very solid piece of well made furniture and although there are a few reminders of its long service in the form of the odd dink

The lower section has a good sized double cupboard and two ample drawers

The left hand drawer contains the original felt lined cutlery tray which although a little worn is still in reasonable condition

Although slightly smaller than many cupboards of this style

Camphor Storage Chest / Ottoman Oak [short-description] This lovely French cabinet[short description] Quite a number of hours have gone into carefully restoring this absolutely stunning oriental camphor wood box but probably not as many as were originally spent carving its intricate scenes. The quality of workmanship is exceptional and without doubt this piece is a piece of art even more than it is a functional piece of furniture. The floral surround and seascape scenes make this box very special. Even the lock is beautifully
