The rod is set up in Leonard's well-known "Catskill style" with a wooden lip for a rear cork check and an english-style tournament snake guide for a stripping guide
As with many of my rods from this period
The varnish is characteristically superb and the rod is wrapped in garnet with three windaways at the keeper and ferrules
and sections are nice and straight
Ferrules are my standard swiss with brass ferrule plugs
