Picea abies flowers though similar in leafOne of our classic Christmas tree species, the Norway spruce is a large, fast growing evergreen coniferous tree growing to 35 55m. As such, it is best placed in an open space where its stature can be admired and adorned with Christmas lights in season! Further delights by producing cones, which are large (9 17cm long), pendulous, green or reddish maturing to brown. Tolerates acidic soils well. H7
