This is a vintage Figgjo Norway Flint plate in the "Market" pattern featuring green and gold illustrations of market scenes

To be honest

I would guestimate that it was potted here in Tasmania during the 1950s or 60s

It is very much in the style of the Candle Wax design but more like rain drops

The Japanese were renowned for catering to this kind of import to Australia market. Made from unknown wood and stamped 'Japan' to the back of tray and on the coasters.
