Tutors kind of break that rule, so much so that there are Commander groups out there that believe tutors should be banned in the spirit of the format

The option to run a Partner Commander is also a big positive, as is the wonderful thematic storytelling that went into its design

It also lets you flip a coin at the beginning of combat on your turn until you lose a flip
