The vase boasts ornate embossed foliate and scroll decoration and sits on a flared foot base

Mid-19th Century Rosewood & Mother of Pearl Writing Slope with Leather Interior. Antiquarian Books with satinwood and ebony strungA fine mid 19th century rosewood and mother of pearl writing box with an ox blood leather and gilt interior. The wood to the box shows some some light scuffing and very slight splitting to the wood in places. The interior is in an excellent condition and appears to have an undergone a refurbishment. The writing box does have a key which operates the lock as it should, however rather oddly the lock receiver has not been changed to match the lock
