Early 19th Century Embroidery Textile Fragment Books - Fiction with drop in rush seatAn early 19th century, possibly late 18th century, sequin and embroidery textile fragment. Likely Indian. The fragment has a fine gold border with a central foliate design with flowers to the above and below of what looks to be leaves or sheafs. Remnants of the rich purple dye remain to the outer edges.
