This then screws into the trem unit like a normal vintage bridge but there is also a small grub screw on the bridge unit to tighten the arm and lock it in position

The 6th hole remains a hole so that the lateral position of the bridge on the guitar is retained

Rick 4003 - Red Black Red armstrong-music Using an accurate shapePlease note this two piece pickguard only fits a Rickenbacker 4003 made in the 1980s. It will unfortunately not fit the more recent and current 4003 models. Made from 3 ply shiny red black red plastic material, 2. 3mm thick. We cut this with a 45 degree bevelled edge and there is a clear protective film on top to protect the pickguard during installation.
