Butter Dish in Moss by Hannah Burgess coffee set up by Tuula NicholsonA medium butter dish in Moss with navy abstract brushwork using oxides, wheel thrown in stoneware. The oxide brushwork varies from peice to piece. Moss is a verdant green glaze with a soft satin to gloss finish (where applied thinner), and is inspired by the dense moss found in shaded forest interiors and covering Yorkshire's dry stone walls. I purposefully leave my fingerprints at the bottom from dipping into the glaze bucket. Average and approx
