I threw the base and lid separately on the wheel out of a stoneware clay, pressed ferns from my yard into the clay, fired it in the kiln, rubbed underglaze into the impressions, glazed it with a clear glaze outside and green glaze inside, and fired it again to 2232F. I sanded the bottoms after coming out of the kiln so they are smooth. The glazes are food safe, and even un glazed portions are non porous. Dimensions: a short one:
