The native Krearea is an endemic bird of prey, the only Falcon found in New Zealand, and often mistaken for the Australian Harrier Hawk. Although found throughout NZ, they are rarer than Kiwi. NZ Falcon are known for their speed, agility and sharp eyesight. Their short, rounded wings allow them to manouevre quickly
