How do you intend to disrupt the opponent
As a baseline, the card is always good against instants, as you can just use the free mana to cast them right away
Also, players gain hexproof too so you can save yourself from being targeted by foes, and no one can lose life or win/lose the game either
However, while Krark Clan Ironworks provides two colorless mana at the cost of one sacrificed artifact, Ashnod's Altar proviodes two mana at the cost of one sacrificed creature
That 3rd toughness makes a pretty huge difference in making the cards baseline a lot less miserable A two mana 2/3 with defender isnt great, but in a defensive deck it isnt unplayable, but the ceiling on this card just isnt very high, and neither is the floor
Beyond my Top 10 there are several other nice ones, such as Amethyst Dragon for Peasant Cubes, and Im looking forward to playing with quite a few cards from the set.
