Once youve built up an army, its pump ability gives everything +2/+2 and vigilance to turn all those little tokens into a serious threat
I'm not too sure how the control match up plays out as I haven't had the opportunity to play a control deck yet, but between our draw, Assemble the Legion, Rakdos's Return and some annoying sideboard cards I'm confident that the deck can hold it's own
This clock doesnt actually matter though, as any world in which you are casting Thought-Knot Seer against your combo opponent on turn three you have maybe a two-turn window to find a Karn Liberated or Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger to close the game before you die to them reassembling their combo and killing you anyway
Since it has such a low cost, both to play and equip, it doesnt take much investment for it to be an incredibly strong card
