It tapers slightly at the waist and then flares out to the bottom

Judging by the style of the tuxedo tails and the label

There is a semi-transparent inset around the waist - it is irregularly sewn

It has not been dry cleaned (commercial dry clean only is recommended on the label) but this sweater looks to have seen little use and was well kept over the years

I believe that this wool ladies suit dates to the early 90s, and, of course, being French, is beautifully tailored. The jacket has a standing collar, squared padded shoulders, front zipper closure, a bag type pocket at either side front and has long sleeves. It has a defined waist that is covered by a matching belt that is inserted through side slits so that the back of
