The wind picks up and a few grains of sand are lifted into the air. Tiny pieces of Micah join the grains of granite and quartz to create a glittering dust devil, swirling like a tiny tornado above the ground until the wind peters out and the sand wobbles like a top and comes to a rest on the ground.
