Plains Beaded Possible Bag, circa 1880 22809 Mine Near Continental DivideAntique 19th century Sioux (Plains Indian) beaded possible bag. Constructed of buckskin hide with a canvas back. The front of the bag is beaded in red, green, dark blue and yellow with a white field; design elements include geometric, diamond and cross motifs. The flap and either side of the bag has a beaded strip in similar colors with multiple tin cone tinklers with horse hair extensions.
