then to French oak for 5 months maturation and refinement before bottling

Ver Sacrum Gloria Garnacha 14% 75cl Monastrell Like caressing a crushed velvetThe label shows Gloria Swanson, femme fatale and siren of the silent movies, a fitting moniker for this sultry wine. Made with 100% Garnacha Negra, the wine is aged in a combination of amphorae and smaller, used French oak casks for 18 months, followed by 20 months in bottle. Fresh red cherries abound on the nose with subtle candied fruit notes, nice firm tannins in the mouth and astounding length.
