Fine Silk Cretan Embroidered Shawl : First half C19th Crete 1920s costume Measurements: 79 x 61cmA finely embroidered museum quality shawl or cover dating from the first half of the 19th century. Hand embroidered in a traditional manner in magenta silk on a fine white cotton ground with a fine hand made magenta lace edge. In very good antique condition with some very slight colour bleed. Measurements: 93cm X 116cm
