Tillandsia delicata Tillandsia multiflora recurvifolia var subsecundifoliaTillandsia delicata is a wonderful and rarely offered species. It is endemic (occuring no where else) to the cloud forests of Mexico. Tillandsia delicata has soft leaves densly covered in trichomes. It is similar in appearance to Tillandsi ionantha or T. x kolbii. It makes a protruding thick flower spike and long purple tubular flowers. The top of the plant and the flower spike turns bright red during the flowering process. I have a few nice flowering
