Huge Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered Tree of Life Hanging C1900 Lyon Silk this is a rare survivorA large Art Deco arched hanging believed to have belonged to The Shanghai Operatic Theatre, made around 1900, Chinese Qing Dynasty. Purple blue silk satin ground with silk embroidery, depicting a highly stylised blossoming tree of life with an animated flock of cranes. In good overall condition for an antique textile from this era. There is a dark mark or stain on the lower left hand side which is hard to detect from a distance and some light areas of
