8" Begonia, Rex 'Purple Speck' D1 green ferns and purply orRex Begonias have been parts of breeding programs for many years, creating hundreds of almost impossible, fantastic color combinations and leaf shapes. Sounding like science fiction, some mutations have even been aided by the use of X rays, a practice also used in Poinsettias. Specially developed Purple Speck is a lovely, smaller leafed Begonia. Mostly pale sea green, the deep red of the center veins and thin red borders accent and outline the leaves.
