A delightful traditional folk art hand embroidered drawn thread work linen runner with delightful birds and from Eastern Europe and dating from the late 19th century. Probably made as part of a brides trousseau these would have been hung decoratively throughout the home usually over cupboards, or across a piece of furniture. As you can see from our photographs we are not traditionalists and have put the panle behind a glass cupboard door
