2018 Oldfield Reserve Syrah spaghetti Bolognese which all set the toneThis Syrah shows a beautiful silky texture with great acidity and length. The nose is very floral with mostly violets and also blueberry, smoked meat and dry herbs. Bright, jammy fruits at the opening of the palate are shining with raspberry and blueberry flavours. The middle palate brings up red plum, black licorice and stewed mushroom. The finish is focused, long and complex with the classic white pepper of the Golden Mile. The tannins are already
