Then in an antique store I noticed the same items on old horse harnesses and bridles

For your consideration two Confederate Mississippi rifle bullets. Listed in Thomas RBRF#4 as bullet 252. You will find both bullets to be in excellent dug condition. I do not see a single patina chip on either bullet. Both bullets have eccentric cavities, both cavities are full of dirt & the skirts of each bullet show faint skirt cast marks. They measures about 0.
