Ohia Ukulele Back and Sides, Baritone Size (LE51) 1-3/4-inch 10 x 3 x 35Ohia is a wood steeped in Hawaiian culture. It is rare that we offer any wood that we have not personally recovered. This Ohia came out of a luthiers wood suppliers shop and we believe it to have been cut from wind fall trees after a hurricane hit the islands about fifteen to twenty years ago. It is air dried. The wood is very dense and finishes with a high polish. At one time the wood could only be used for Hawaiian royalty. The first photos is taken
