The design features two stacked zig zag diamond panels with a jagged sawtooth center dividing line and border elements influenced by the Spanish woven blankets so valued in New Mexico by the weavers of the Rio Grande blankets. The rug is in excellent condition, has a provenance and has been published in an exhibition catalogue
