NYASALAND 1897-1900 £10 black and yellow, SG52 Transjordan stamps Santana have sold over 90Nyasaland 1897 1900 10 black and yellow, "Coat of Arms", SG52. A very fine used example with exceptional colour, attractively cancelled by crisp part Zomba squared circle. A very rare high value stamp particularly so in such fine condition. Great Britain declared British Central Africa a protectorate in 1891 and started to issue postage stamps. In 1908, the Protectorate was renamed Nyasaland, and in 1953 it joined the postal territory of Rhodesia and
