Authentic urushi lacquer, with a sheen and depth that no synthetic can equal, is hand gathered and blended, like wine, by their master lacquerers. Using an age old technique called Popot, the urushi lacquer is then hand applied over a solid brass body, distributed evenly to ensure a silk like feel and a high resistance to scratches and heat. Each pen
