The album came just over a year after previous studio album Terrapin Station
the songs on "Summer at Land's End" were crafted slowly and then drawn together to make a unified statement
But maybe more important to me personally was how this album and pouring over the liner notes/press photos/interviews as a teen opened my ears to a whole lot of other stuff
