Valkyries Call is a harder-to-kill version of Luminous Broodmoth, a card that nobody in the history of Commander has ever played fairly
Sure this version has fun Secret Lair-esque artwork, but its still pretty much a bulk mythic
Saddle can only be activated as a sorcery, so you cannot saddle in response to your creature getting destroyed
Both games have official formats that define the card pool that players may use when building decks, complete with ban lists and the like
Because of the high mana cost pre-delve this dodges Counterbalance quite nicely, and the delve itself allows it to ignore Thalia, Guardian of Thraben at the cost of an additional graveyard card
