For a 5-mana activation, youd think the Intelligence Bobblehead could at least draw you X+1 cards for your trouble
When on the draw or paired against a more aggressive strategy, the deck had the tools to take a control role
[c]Blue-Red Delver[/c] is named after [c]Delver of Secrets[/c], a super cheap yet effective creature that can whittle away at your opponents life total over the course of a game
You are giving them 3 turns to find a solution or just kill you themselves
Ward will make them lose life if they try to remove your lizard commander, and thats not that big of an issue because you can recast it so many times
plus if I havent a mana sinker like [[Merfolk Skydiver]] on the board, the speed given is generally catch by the card disadvantage and the fact that the cards I use to break the game are creature centric or require more than just a large amount of mana to work ([[Deeproot Waters]], [[Opposition]], [[Murkfiend Liege]], [[Master of Waves]], [[Prophet of Kruphix]])
