Its one of the few versions of this effect that makes tokens, and that has many synergies with populate or commanders like Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer

If you don't have any other artifacts in play you want to bounce back to your hand, you can always choose to bounce itself since it is an artifact creature

And then Terra re-enters the battlefield transformed back, and should draw you another card

Theres also a (deliberate?) departure from vastly overpowered spells or commanders for each deck like Teferi's Protection, Toxic Deluge, or Edgar Markov
