With a familiar Shadow the Hedgehog quote as flavor text, the Air Shoes card equips creatures with Haste like the Power Shoes, as well as Hexproof, meaning the card it is equipped to cannot be targeted by opponent spells or abilities
The Commander Decks have revealed a ton of new cards in a similar vein that have great mechanical nods to their respective gamessome of my favorites include Zack Fair in FFVII s, which lets you essentially replicate Cloud swiping Zacks identity after his death, or Champions from Beyond in FFXIV s, a very nifty nod to the MMORPGs party finder mechanic (and one of the coolest moments in its expansion Shadowbringers )
For one, it's the first to name check a specific character, that being the tentacled sea-witch herself, who's been freed from imprisonment and is wreaking her usual havoc upon Lorcana
