While there are stronger options, such as Thoughtseize or Duress for hand disruption or higher-impact creatures like Vampire Nighthawk for lifelink and evasion, Deep-Cavern Bat can still see play in more casual or budget-oriented builds where its unique combination of abilities is valuable
