Why its helpful When you play a Shift card on top of another character, you only pay the Shift cost (not the Ink cost)

You won't be setting up uber-complex combos or interacting with your opponents much, and you won't learn much about the newer mechanics featured in Lorcana

Every other starter deck has bigger characters that will run this deck over, even with its variety of Resist cards

Then you can tap it with three and exile a card from any graveyard - ideal to hose foes

Compared to previous Starter Decks, they seem on par with what I've come to expect from Lorcana (and by that I mean they're really good)

The reveal didnt just showcase a bunch of gorgeous artwork, though, it also explained how some of these cards will function while honoring some characters in-game abilities
