I can definitely understand people not putting Yawgmoth, Thran Physician in their top five list as its only played in one deck, which isnt a dominant player in the metagame either, but the card makes the archetype and there arent too many good mono-black creatures in Modern right now
I definitely didnt design the deck to have them, but there might be some I didnt intend
Three of the four Blastoise cards are from the very first English test print run of the Pokmon Trading Card game, way back when Wizards of the Coast published it
And even if you already have a few cards in hand, playing Oak at the right time will almost always change the entire complexion of your game
Leader could've been a cool way to support Lorwyn tribal decks, but I imagine it would be hard to balance
