I find this sort of cheesy mana production more annoying than fun, since it often just pays for itself and lets the controller make arbitrary amounts of mana with no real strategy involved, but that might be a more broad conversation about Treasure tokens that Im not going to get into here
Theyre useful for players who look to test new decks or cards and want in on a fantastic format without blowing a ton of money, buying budget EDH decks, or scraping by with a $20 Commander deck
I avoided attack triggers because ninjutsu has them already attacking and we'd need to wait until next turn to get their attack trigger
I also like the idea of tossing a die and randomly choosing who gets the benefit
