The need to not miss land drops early would leave both decks with lots of land and not that much to do with it, allowing a player with Goblin Trenches to pressure the opponent slowly, go all-in or do anything in between and usually make their choice work
As always, Enchanted cards are hardest cards to pull, and they are usually the most beautiful, featuring excellent extended/alternate art that highlights unique aspects of the character beyond what the main set card can do
Cards like Enduring RenewalEnduring Renewal and MortuaryMortuary utilize this to great effect, as do Pitiless PlundererPitiless Plunderer and Blood ArtistBlood Artist style cards
A control deck that focuses on resource denial and land destruction would benefit from using Land Tax in Magic: the Gathering
