Some foils that curve too much can be considered marked cards at the discretion of judges
Thankfully, there's no shortage of oil counter cards going around in this set, and noncreature spells are plentiful in most decks
But Ive tried to build a narrative around these cards and what the set is doing well, while highlighting the cards I think will matter in Standard, the fewer that will work in Pioneer and Modern, and the pile that well all be sleeving up for Commander soon
Phyrexian Arena Rarity: Rare TYPE: Enchantment SUBTYPE: - CMC: 3 Mana cost: USD: $4.12 EUR: 3.33 TIX: 0.02 EDHREC RANK: 100 At the beginning of your upkeep, you draw a card and you lose 1 life
The other possibility is playing Invasion of Regatha in a dedicated burn deck since the backside seems pretty powerful with Play with Fire, Lightning Strike, and friends as a weird twist on Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, although I'm not sure a burn deck wants to use multiple burn spells or attacks to remove the five defense counters to defeat the battle
One critters trash is another ones treasure
