Once your life total is low enough, Deaths Shadow outgrows virtually any other creature in the format, which means that it can be very tricky playing against the card as you dont want to make this monstrosity too big before you can actually handle it
I like to think these cards do a good job of explaining why we rotate out mechanics in Magic
